“So, what do you think?” Isaac asked his partner as he poured himself another drink. He sat down in the chair where Sophie had been, still warm.

Lennie rocked back in his chair and put his hands behind his head. A wicked grin broke out across his face. “Don’t you think it was a little soon to pull the good-cop bad-cop act with her?”

Isaac rolled his eyes. “Not at all. That girl’s washed up. Look, I know Becca’s doing what she’s doing at Charisma so they have a reason for transferring the girl away that makes them look like angels. Sophie had potential, but that’s gone now.”

“So, how do you think she’ll handle this? Britney style bender or do you think she’ll agree to your proposal?”

“Damn I hope she chooses the second. I’d like to have some fun with her before she’s totally useless to us.”

“I’ve seen the way you treat your women, Isaac. If she chooses you, she’ll be more useless than if she goes on a full out bender.”

Isaac chuckled into his glass. “Your words wound me. I had something a little more refined in mind for this girl than the usual treatment.”

“Oh yeah, like what?”

“There’s nothing better for popularity than a well-timed sex tape. I’m happy to lend my services in such a valiant effort.”

Lennie rolled his eyes and shook his head. “How’re you gonna convince this girl to get in bed with you? She hates your guts.”

“Who said anything about convince?” Isaac’s tone was dark.

The two men laughed and Lennie cleared his throat. “But, in all reality. Just make sure you’ve got a plan ready to deal with whatever happens. Personally, my money is on a bender,” Lennie said, sliding a one-hundred-dollar bill across the desk.

“I’ll take that wager,” Isaac said, reaching for his own wallet and placing his own on top of Lennie’s.

“Watch her close,” Lennie said as Isaac got up to leave.

“I always do,” he said with a glint in his eye.
